T-Mobile G1 Launches Today, But Is It Worth It?

The hype has been building for this puppy, so go purchase one for yourself before it sells out... if you know what you're doing... AND if you're a Google fan (like me) and not care about the specs. I'm a little iffy about it though, mainly because T-Mobile is the carrier and my friends have been complaining about it for years. After reading some reviews on the G1, one of the caveats that threw me off was that you only get 1GB, according to engadget.com. If that's the case, why not just pay $20 extra to get the iPhone 3G when they give you 8GB or more? See pricing chart below — click to see larger version.

I've always been more of a PC supporter than MAC, but please pass me the iPhone if I were to choose. The G1 needs a bit more work, that's all.

I'll put it like this: my next phone is the Samsung Access from AT&T. 'Nuff said...
