Sakura Matsuri

Yesterday I went to the Sakura Matsuri (it's an annual Cherry Blossom Festival at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden). I was supposed to meet up with my friend, Jon, but I got there two hours later due to the oh so lovely weekend train problems. He had left before I got there so I walked around the garden and snapped some pictures.

There were a few festivities going on but I didn't walk through the whole garden to see them all. I watched some ninjas fight each other and danced on stage. This one man did some Japanese tongue twisters—that was incredible! Unfortunately, I forgot to take my medicine before I place my place so I kept sneezing all day.

About an hour and a half later, I met up with my other friend, Seijo, and his buddies. We went to Oz Cafe in Elmhurst, Queens for some cheap and delicious sushi ($2.75 a roll). This is like the Zen Restaurant of Manhattan, but it's being renovated now.
