1) Visiting Coney Island and the beach (not at Coney cause it's dirty lol). The go-karts are gone and that was my favorite part about Coney Island! I still don't know whether Astroland will be removed for sure or if they're going to renovate it. Why are the rich folks always taking everything away from us? There's so much history...
2) Summer Fridays. This is how it generally works. All employees get out early (around 1pm) on Fridays, but I'm one of the lucky ones that only go to work every other Friday. In other words, my boss and I alternate taking Fridays off but we'd have to stay until 5pm the days we are there, which isn't too bad!
3) BBQs. Eating hotdogs and hamburgers in the summer is the best! The aroma of food and warm weather just go together so well.
4) Wearing light clothes and flip flops. It's not time consuming and there's no extra weight =]
5) There's still light outside at 8pm!
I always feel like summer is the only season that ends quickly. I'll never know why. I'm pretty content cause I don't think my summer was wasted at all. I got to hang out with my favorite people, take a stroll in Central Park, and indulge in all the ice cream I wanted. I hope everyone else is enjoying their summer too cause Fall is coming and that means you have to pull the sweaters out... ugh!
If you haven't been to the movies lately, I suggest you see Rush Hour 3—It was so funny but too short. I still need to see Superbad—it's currently the #1 movie, it has positive ratings from the top publications out there, and everyone I know loved it. Oh and I can't forget about my favorite movie by far this summer.. TRANSFORMERS. I've been a fan since I was a kid and I'm glad the movie turned out so well.
Another movie I want to see is The 11th Hour. I enjoy watching documentaries like these despite how devastating it is.

Your favorite season is my absolute worst. I hate the summer! But that's all I'll say about it just because you put so much into why you like it.
Unfortunately for me, I won't enjoy the fall and winter(my favs), because I'll be doing something I probably won't like...
